2025 CHALLENGE COMING SOON!

2025 CHALLENGE COMING SOON!

I'm excited to share the concept of "The Million Pound Challenge," an idea born from the desire to achieve something truly ambitious, even seemingly impossible. The inspiration struck me when considering the sheer volume of one million pounds and whether such a weight could be lifted in a single workout. Adding the power of teamwork and a charitable cause amplified the idea.
I began by tracking the cumulative free weight I lifted in an average workout and then explored how long it would take one person to move a million pounds, considering exercise type, increments, and required weight. I also pondered whether a team could accomplish this in a single session and what rules would govern such a challenge. I brought this concept to our 7 AM Club, a group that meets every Saturday to exercise and engage in meaningful conversation—or, as we say, to "earn our Saturday."
Chris Baggett, owner of Fully Alive and leader of our 7 AM Club, embraced the challenge of determining the movements and weights needed to reach this goal, and that's how "The Million Pound Challenge" officially came to life. In 2022, we picked a date, charity, and 10 crazy guys. We had no idea how long it would take but we did it. And so can you!
